The UltraWave II is the optimum non-ablative, aesthetic laser system for treating unwanted hair of all skin types, including sun-tanned skin. The Alexandrite 755 is recognized as the most effective wavelength for removing hair in lighter skin types; the 1064 Nd/YAG is most effective in removing hair in darker skin types. The 1064 is also excellent for treating fine facial lines, pigmented lesions and leg veins, while the systemĚs multi-pulse feature protects surrounding tissue from thermal damage. The UltraWave II now includes a 7 Hz short pulse mode in the 1064 wavelength for faster treatment of large areas.
