Mission
Research at Rush is dedicated to the pursuit of outstanding biomedical research to advance knowledge and optimize patient care.

Rush is committed to fostering centers of excellence that combine clinical, basic and population science to study areas of importance to the community. Several programs have been created to support and encourage Rush investigators involved in more than 1,600 research studies, including trials of new medical and surgical therapies. This site includes information for prospective research participants, for research sponsors and for investigators, including links to many online resources. The office is under the direction of James L. Mulshine, MD, vice president and associate provost for research at Rush University Medical Center.
