� HISTORY
Deka was founded in Florence in 1981 and began its business with the development of electronic subsystems for the application of laser technologies. In 1983, the first CO2 lasers were launched on the market, followed by the Nd:YAG, Pulsed DYE, excimer lasers, Er:YAG, etc.
During its over twenty years of intense production and research since then, the company has created a wide range of high-tech medical laser devices and achieved a leading position on the world scene. DEKA currently covers all fields of medical laser applications with last generation products.
In 1996, the company obtained the EN ISO-9002, while in 1999 it obtained the EN ISO-9001 and EN-46001 quality assurance system certifications.
Today, DEKA is a certified company according to EN ISO-9001 and EN ISO-13485.
