President's Message

Dear Members,

I wish to inform you that the new council of the Hong Kong Surgical Laser Association was newly elected at the AGM on 15 April 2005. A couple of laser experts have been included into the council and I am sure they will bring in inspiration for the association. I would also like to thank the outgoing council members: Dr. Walter King, Dr. Ronald Leung and Dr. Alec Fung for their previous contribution and support to make the association prosperous as today.

This is the year for our bi-annual scientific forum to be held again. The Hong Kong Laser Forum will be held on 16 October 2005 (Sunday) at the Hospital Authority Building. The Forum will focus on the update of Laser in Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology and Urology. Moreover, there will be a simultaneous Intense Pulsed Light Certificate Course for doctors and nurses. Please mark it on your calendar and I am confident that you will benefit from this informative one-day laser education programme.
