PhotoAcoustic Technology PulseÙ by RevLiteÙ
RevLiteÙ features a unique technology that sets it apart from standard lasers on the market. Most aesthetic medical lasers use longer pulses, subjecting the skin to excessive and potentially harmful heat. The RevLiteÌs EO Q-switched engineering produces very rapid, short pulse widths of energy, limiting the healthy tissueÌs exposure to thermal build-up and offering safe, fast and effective treatment. This technology, pioneered by HOYA ConBioÙ, produces a PhotoAcoustic action to target the molecule versus a photothermal action delivered by other lasers. With the advent of the PhotoAcoustic Technology PulseÙ by RevLiteÙ, which is characterized by a unique dispersion of maximum energy, physicians can harness very narrow pulse widths at peak energy with up to 60 percent more power than previous HOYA ConBioÙ lasers. Physicians report that the RevLiteÙ technology is especially effective in producing a superior ÏPhotoAcoustic rejuvenationÓ effect, resulting in a more refreshed appearance, even skin tone, smoother texture, tightening and decreased pore size.

Benefits of the RevLiteÙ EO Q-Switched Laser
The RevLiteÙ EO Q-switched Nd: YAG laser is built on the same reliable foundation as the popular MedLite? series of lasers, known as the ÏworkhorsesÓ of the aesthetic medical industry for almost two decades.
Functionality
RevLiteÙ is our first laser to feature PhotoAcoustic Technology PulseÙ, a sophisticated feature that enables physicians to provide excellent results in treatment of overall skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal and other procedures. PhotoAcoustic Technology PulseÙ is a unique dispersion of maximum energy output, using up to 60 percent more power than our previous laser technologies, with the same degree of patient safety and comfort. The RevLiteÙ also delivers higher energy output at all spot sizes, including six- and eight-millimeter. Larger spot sizes provide deeper penetration and improved removal of inks and dermal nevus. By penetrating more deeply and covering more surface area, the RevLiteÙ laser potentially requires fewer appointments to achieve superior results.
Versatility
This multi-purpose laser provides industry-leading treatments for skin resurfacing (including wrinkle reduction and acne scar treatment), multi-color tattoo removal, vascular, dermal and epidermal pigmented lesion removal, and hair removal Û for all skin types.
With the use of MultiLite Dye Laser Handpieces, the polymer rods convert the RevLiteÙ laser's 532 nm wavelength to both 585 nm and 650 nm. Added to the 1064 nm, this creates a total of four wavelengths for a wide variety of procedures. The versatility of multiple wavelengths provides aesthetic physicians with a cost-efficient tool to expand their services and meet a wide spectrum of patient needs, reliably and safely.
Reliability
The groundbreaking laser technology used by the RevLiteÙ laser is built on a foundation of quality, reliability, and engineering expertise that have earned HOYA ConBioÙ lasers the reputation as ÏworkhorsesÓ of the aesthetic medical laser industry. For more than 25 years, HOYA ConBioÙ has been a global leader in medical lasers and their systems are respected worldwide by luminary physicians.

The intuitive touch screen display of the RevLiteÙ laser provides physicians with pre-programmed settings for every approved indication of the RevLiteÙ laser, making it easy to use whether at a single or multiple physician practice. Individual buttons feature programmed settings for Wrinkle Reduction, Tattoo Removal, Dermal Lesions, Laser Peel, Hair Removal and a range of Epidermal Pigment treatments. Physicians can also customize their RevLiteÙ with up to five additional pre-sets tailored to their own patient base. Multiple language screens are available (English, French, German, Spanish and Italian).
Nd:YAG Crystal
The backbone of the RevLiteÙ laser is the Nd:YAG crystal, a solid-state material which has been used for years in scientific and medical communities. The RevLiteÙ laser also has the benefit of being EO Q-switched with PhotoAcoustic Technology PulseÙ technology.
EO Q-Switched
By storing energy between pulses, an EO (electro-optic) Q-switched laser is able to achieve a shorter output pulse. The Q-switch acts as a high-speed shutter, allowing the RevLiteÙ laser to produce peak power output of 200 megawatts in a 5 Ò 20 ns pulse width. This creates a PhotoAcoustic effect, delivering peak energy with such force that the target molecule vibrates and shatters. The energy is delivered throughout the epidermis faster than the normal relaxation time of healthy tissue. As a result, this technology enhances safety and eliminates the need for skin cooling or any concern for scarring typical to long pulse IPLs or longer pulse Alexandrite lasers that have a high rate of hypopigmentation and hyperpigmentation. HOYA ConBioÙ EO Q-switched lasers are still small enough to be easily stored.
MultiLite Dye Laser Handpieces for Four Wavelengths
The HOYA ConBioÙ MultiLite dye-impregnated polymer rod handpieces are used with the RevLiteÙ laser to convert the 532 nm wavelength to either 585 nm or 650 nm, providing the physician with four wavelengths and expanded treatment options for patients. These wavelengths are valuable for multi-color tattoo removal: the 585 nm wavelength removes sky blue and some yellow tattoo inks while the 650 nm wavelength removes green inks.
Flat-Top Beam Profile
The RevLiteÙ beam profile is a flat-top, smooth, evenly-calibrated beam without uneven spikes of energy typical in other lasers. As a result, the energy is delivered in extremely even pulse widths, targeting the chromophore with accuracy and efficiency, minimizing any damage to the epidermis.
AimLiteÙ (Aiming Beam Technology)
The AimLiteÙ system provides physicians with assistance in performing laser skin resurfacing and other procedures in discrete and/or delicate areas such as near the mouth and eyes. Specifically, the AimLiteÙ produces a red aiming beam that is co-linear with the treatment beam, enabling the physician to achieve accurate positioning of the beam for best results.
Wireless Foot Switch
An optional wireless foot switch is available to help enhance proper configuration of the system during treatment.
PurpuraLiteÙ
PurpuraLiteÙ is an exclusive chromophore-clearing device from HOYA ConBioÙ. The PurpuraLiteÙ system temporarily ÏemptiesÓ the blood vessels under the treatment area, reducing purpuric responses that can occur as a result of laser treatment.
