Description
Established in February 1968 in California as the Laser Industry Association by a group of laser pioneers, inventors, and industry leaders. The name was changed to Laser Institute of America in 1972. The Institute is dedicated to fostering lasers, laser applications and laser safety worldwide as well as sponsoring educational and training courses, conferences and symposia on laser-related information.
