Skin Changes With Age

As we age, our skin changes. The changes can be grouped as either intrinsic (internal) aging or extrinsic (external) aging.

Intrinsic aging factors include your genes passed from your family. These relate to the "normal" aging changes including thinning skin, loss of fat under the skin and fine lines seen in older skin.
