Moles can appear anywhere on the skin and can be a wide range of colours from blue and red to brown and black. They can be flat or round or raised and may contain hairs. Most of the moles are harmless but do have the potential to become a skin cancer.

Over time moles can change colour, shape and size. It is important to keep check moles constantly and where necessary having them removed either surgically, or by laser.
