Israel's Syneron Medical Ltd. (ELOS.O: Quote, Profile, Research), which provides laser-based services, said it received regulatory pre-marketing clearance for its device for temporary reduction of thigh circumference.
The Vela platform had earlier received the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's approval for cellulite treatment, the company said in a statement.
The company also got regulatory approval to market the device in the European Union, Syneron added.
