The Photobiology Unit was founded for the advancement of photodermatological diagnosis, treatment and research. Through our clinical research programme we have attempted to refine phototheraputic treatment protocols with evidence based recommendations for patient management. Concern over the photocarcinogenic potential of light therapy emphasises the importance of optimal treatment to limit unnecessary photoexposure.
