VENOUS DIGEST
The VENOUS DIGEST is a unique journal dedicated to the improvement of care of patients with venous problems. Its content consists of abstracts of current literature with comments on the publications by well-recognized authorities. The text is accompanied by book reviews, meeting announcements, and occasional editorials. All of this is transmitted to members of several professional societies as a privilege of membership. Also, fax subscribers receive the current issue on the first Monday of every month. To protect the privileges of subscribers and members of professional societies, the "current issue for the web" is really 90 days old. Therefore, when you click on CURRENT ISSUE on this page, the issue displayed will be 90 days old.

The editors scan the current world literature in order to identify those articles which will interest subscribers. They identify experts and solicit their opinions on the research. Then they combine and collate this material into each monthly issue. The result is an accumulation of a broad range of information which, over time, becomes a complete reference list of what is going on in the world of research, diagnosis, and care of venous disease.

This website is intended to reach a broad audience. Content is produced at a high level and links provide a variety of information to professionals and the lay public. Further, in recognition of the importance of the visual image to learning, the editors have accumulated video presentations which teach pathophysiology, diagnosis, and care of venous abnormalities.
